There were definitely stressful moments during planning, which I’m sure every couple experiences, but Laurel was a godsend throughout. She was always calm, reassuring and there when we needed her. I personally find dealing with suppliers quite stressful, so when Laurel took over all the communications it was honestly a lifesaver and made such a difference to my stress levels.

Now, a week after the wedding, we’re still riding the high of the day and can’t believe how smoothly everything went. Everything was exactly how we wanted it and came together perfectly. If we had tried to do this on our own, or gone with a more traditional planner, I really don’t think the day would have felt so personal or suited us as a couple.

If you want a planner who truly cares about making your wedding feel like you, and is genuinely excited to bring your ideas to life, I couldn’t recommend Laurel enough.

On the day, Laurel was joined by Tom and Meg and they were so incredible to work with as well. We were so impressed by their professionalism and hard work, as well as their ability to understand the vision and execute it fantastically.

As far as we know, nothing went wrong, which is the marker of a fantastic planner! Even if things went wrong or squiff, we were none the wiser and we are so grateful for the ease of the day due to their hard work.

Having worked in corporate events for 10 years, I took on quite a challenge when I started planning my own DIY wedding.

I hired Laurel to coordinate the day, but she took over all supplier comms beforehand - which really meant that I could focus on enjoying the lead up and celebrations of our big day. Laurel and the team were great with our family and guests, as well as my husband and I - getting stuck in with everyone - they really felt like part of the celebration. I had a slightly non-traditional wedding, with a micro ceremony on a Friday night and a garden party at home on the Saturday. It was fairly short notice- hired Nya Rue events just before Christmas and the wedding was mid-April- so I am so incredibly glad I hired Laurel to plan the party. Throughout the whole thing she understood my vision and made it happen, on budget, and smooth as anything. The caterers she found me were fantastic, and everything was exactly as I wanted. Level of communication was perfect for me; and completely un-pushy. Laurel would suggest various extras I might like, but if I didn't want them, that was that.

I felt so understood all the way through and was absolutely delighted with the results. Hiring her allowed myself and my family to relax and actually enjoy our party! Thank you so much for everything!

Very professional and kind. She really is very good, she was there, dealt with suppliers, and was on call when needed. She really stepped in and took care of everything. She really made our day easier especially because we had a small baby.
